Ash Citizens Advice Bureau
Mission Statement
To give advice and information on a wide range of subjects including welfare benefits, employment law, housing, consumer rights, family law, debt management etc. Our service is free, impartial, confidential and independent. We answer enquiries by personal interview, letter, phone or, where needed, home visit. We negotiate, when appropriate, on behalf of our clients with third parties.
General Interests
Catalyst (Guildford)
Mission Statement
Catalyst (formerly SAdAS) is a non-profit organisation working with people who are dealing with issues stemming from drug and alcohol misuse and mental health – including housing, involvement with criminal justice, relationships with family and friends and getting back into work.
Guildford-based for over 30 years, we work throughout Surrey and its borders in partnership with a wide variety of statutory and non-statutory organisations and bodies to provide support.
We believe change is achievable when facilitated by skilled professional staff and volunteers offering a friendly, respectful, non-judgemental and personal approach.
It’s not just about what we offer, but how we offer it.
General Interests
Eikon
Mission Statement
The Eikon Charity supports vulnerable young people in Surrey who have disadvantaged backgrounds and at-risk of crisis. Eikon introduces preventative approaches to ensure issues do not escalate and become life-changing challenges. Many of the young people Eikon work with are on the verge of: homelessness; exclusion from school; committing crimes; getting involved in drug and alcohol abuse; self harming; or suffering from mental health issues or family crisis. Eikon work in Secondary schools, Youth Centres and conduct Mobile Outreach programmes to target hard-to-reach young people.
Eikon aims to create happy, thriving and resilient young people who contribute positively to society.
