Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities!

u

Please select one of the following volunteer applications:
Sports

Youth Sports Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Administrator's and Timekeeper's are needed at many Dallas Park and Recreation location's. These volunteers will help with the basic operations for youth sports, such as basketball, baseball, coaching, soccer, gymnastics, boxing, lacrosse and many more. These volunteer opportunities take place after 5:00pm, 1-2 days a week. We need you. Sharing your time will help facilitate better futures for these young athletes by creating positive experiences in which children learn sportsmanship, fundamental skills, teamwork, and responsibility. Some lifting, knowledge of the game and ability to be in the elements is required.
Teens

We have awesome opportunities available to work with teens through our new youth division program, Teens Organized and Prepared for Success (TOPS). This program was designed to reinforce positive behavior and reduce the recidivism rate among Dallas teens. There are also opportunities to assist tech agents in our Best Buy Teen Tech Center, where young people ages 12-17, can work with adult mentors to develop new skills, explore their own ideas, build self-confidence and proficiency in tech.
