Adelaide Hills Farmers Market
Volunteer with us for the Mini Makers Market!
This year the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market will be hosting the Mini Makers Market in collaboration with the Mount Barker District Council! The Mini Makers Market is a fun-filled event celebrating the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our young local makers and we need your help to make it all happen! With workshops leading up to the event and on the exciting market day itself, your support will help create an unforgettable experience for our Mini Makers.

Trees For Life

Bush For Life
We look after SA’s native bushland by removing isolated weeds that compete for space and resources so that our bushland can regenerate naturally. We have over 300 bushland sites across the state and we offer ongoing training and support to our volunteers. Being a bushcare volunteer is a rewarding, and practical way to help your local environment.
General Interests
Woodhouse Adventure Park
Woodhouse Adventure Park is a not-for-profit leader in youth development and outdoor education that provides screen free fun for families, scout groups, schools and special occasions. Run by Scouts SA for the last 65 years, Woodhouse Adventure Park's beautiful 54-hectare property is largely maintained by a talented and hard-working group of volunteers.
In fact, many of the things at Woodhouse is known and loved for - from the awesome activities to beautifully maintained gardens and freshly cut camping fields - would simply not be possible without volunteers.
A dedicated band of Volunteers at Woodhouse (run by Scouts SA, based on a 54-hectare property in Piccadilly) helps when and where they can, and new volunteers are very welcome!
Where better to spend a few hours than on a beautiful property, surrounded by the sounds of nature, kids having fun, and enjoying great company from like-minded people.
The volunteering options are endless, including:
- Tuesday work group conducting all sorts of general maintenance, including Challenge Hill obstacle course
- Gardening group
- Mowing and tractor work
Along with having a great time there is the satisfaction that you are contributing to a not-for-profit organisation supporting youth development and the wider community. There’s no commitment, just come up when you can.
If you are interested, or just want to know more please get in touch by emailing info@woodhouse.org.au us a call 83393333.
