Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation
We provide programs to young people 8-18 years experiencing family mental illness with the aim of empowering them to build resilience, lifelong knowledge and connections, so they can reach their potential.
We provide evidence-based, age appropriate prevention and early intervention mental health services, embedded within a peer-based social and activity based format. Children attend camps, fun activity days and online Connect chat sessions featuring mental health education.

Together, we link people with disabilities, carers and the aged, with care and support services through flexible and inclusive choices within our local community.
Mission Statement
Carers and Disability Link are focused on delivering compassionate and personalised care across regional South Australia. We offer support and resources to carers, people living with disability, and people aged over 65, as well as providing vital connection across our regional communities through various social enterprise programs.
General Interests
Young Carer Volunteer
We are seeking a passionate, caring and energetic volunteer to help facilitate groups for Young Carers aged 5 - 14 years within the Adelade Hills. Our Young Carer Volunteers create a relaxed and welcoming space in which Young Carers can connect, have fun and feel supported. Applications particularly welcome from people over the age of 25 with full driving licence. Groups run fortnightly on Mondays 3-6.30pm excluding school holidays, ideally volunteers can offer a minimum 6-month commitment. Call 8389 7383 or email hr@CADL.support

About Us
Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit, community-based volunteer organisation working throughout South Australia.
Since 1954, we have assisted many people in the community to live independently in their own homes by providing meals for up to 7 days. Delivering hot, delicious, nutritious 3 course meals on week-days and frozen meals for weekends, public holiday and other times when clients may need to be away from home.
Our clients include those who cannot cook or shop for themselves with ease, such as older people, people with a disability, carers or those recovering from an illness or injury.

Meals on Wheels Stirling
Working throughout South Australia, Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit, community-based volunteer organisation that improves the diet and wellbeing of less able people by cooking and delivering thousands of meals each week. And we have been doing that for seventy years! We provide freshly cooked, hot, delicious, nutritious, three-course meals every weekday, plus frozen meals for weekends, public holidays or times when clients are away from home. Our clients include those who easily cannot cook or shop for themselves, including older people, people with a disability, carers and those recovering from illness or injury. Volunteer With Us And Make A Difference! Research shows that home-delivered meal programs significantly reduce food insecurity whilst improving diet quality, social connectivity, and people’s quality-of-life. And as a volunteer you will benefit by feeling part of your local supportive, cohesive and caring community. Locally Based Our Stirling Branch helps people in the Aldgate, Bridgewater, Crafers, Crafers West, Heathfield, Mylor, Piccadilly, Stirling, Summertown and Uraidla areas.
