Talk Time Facilitator - Tukwila Library
Become a Volunteer Talk Time Facilitator for KCLS! Help people in your community practice their conversational English skills.

Schedule: Sundays, 4:00-5:00pm
DESCRIPTION:
- Facilitate one Talk Time session once a week for 1.5 hours.
- Prepare a lesson plan for each session.
- Collaborate and cooperate as a team with other volunteers.
- Provide a safe and respectful environment that promotes learning and sharing.
- Be aware of resources available for English Language Learners in your library and community
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years or older
- Washington state resident
- Person fluent or proficient in English.
- Experience or interest in working with multicultural groups.
- Comfortable communicating with limited English speakers.
- Open to other ideas and opinions; willing to learn from others.

- WA state background check
- Volunteer Agreement Form
- Interview/Class Observation/Orientation
- Training (provided by KCLS)
