Family Events Office Volunteer

The Family Events team are looking for some volunteer support to help behind the scenes to deliver fantastic events and activities for children, young people and families to enjoy throughout the year.

• The role is based in the offices at our hospice in Sittingbourne, Kent.
  
  
• The team would like support on a weekly basis for a few hours. Times and dates can be flexible around you.
  
  
• The role will be a mix of computer administration and practical tasks, from updating database records and invitation responses to packing equipment and activities for event days.
  
  
• Due to the events schedule, there might be some busier periods through the year where more support could be needed if you are available to help. You'll also have the opportunity to volunteer at events and see families enjoying what you've helped organise.
  
  
• You will be given full training on the database and systems Demelza use, as well as ongoing support from a friendly and welcoming team.
  

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and you will be working with confidential information, for which additional training regarding Confidentiality and Safeguarding will be provided.
