We facilitate and support a 'happier state of mind' through the social and educational benefits of a free and welcoming creative arts space. From humble beginnings our motto was realized, it states: "That which creates itself cannot be destroyed" which speaks to the empowering effect that creating art in a group setting has in building confidence and self-esteem. As a grass roots organization, the Collective is run largely by the members. We are supported by the community through private and public donations of materials, money and time. We employ an "Open Studio" Facilitator during the large group sessions and our participants are self-directed with their own art projects.
