Mission Statement

Working in partnership with our residents, organizations and other municipalities, to develop a healthy and active community by ensuring access to recreation, parks and community development programs and services.

Branch Out! Events

Invasive Species Pull & Native Planting Events 

Urban forests not only beautify our neighbourhoods, they also improve resident's quality of life and event the quality of the air we breathe. Branch Out! events offer the opportunity for volunteers to work alongside members of our Parks team to remove invasive species and assist with the planting of native trees and shrubs.
