The Settlement Hub - Shepparton
The Settlement Hub in Shepparton provides ongoing support for individuals and families who have been in Australia for less than five years. The Hub offers programs and services to make the settlement process easier and to gain independence. It focuses on fostering social participation, economic and personal wellbeing and community connections.
We offer lots of different activities to help people settle in and find their feet, including:
- Classes and workshops - such as English, computer and creative arts lessons
- Community Meals Program - a space to prepare food and share cultural cuisine
- Excursions - family friendly experiences showcasing all that Melbourne has to offer
- Practical Support - including assistance with food, housing, material aid, transport and referrals.
If you have hidden talent that we could add to our activities list or would like to support our meals program we can support a flexible and rewarding experience.
If you have 4 hours a month to spare and a passion to make an impact in the lives of people we support, by creating a place for people to feel safe, to belong, and to connect. We would like you to join our dedicated team
