Foster Care - Wimmera
Help provide a safe, supportive and loving home for a child or young person in need.
The role of a foster carer is crucial in ensuring that Victoria’s youths are provided with the support they need to develop in a safe and nurturing environment. A kind and empathetic foster carer can offer a sense of stability and security that can change a young person’s life.
Types of care we need:
- Weekend respite, looking after children and young people living with a foster care family for occasional or regularly scheduled weekends.
- Short-term care, which ranges from a few days to a few months, depending on the child or young person's needs.
- Long-term care, when the child or young person is not expected to return to their family.
- If you’re interested in making a meaningful difference in the lives of Victoria’s young people, consider becoming a foster carer. Our program provides extensive training and support to ensure that you’re fully prepared to offer the best possible care to your foster child.
The first step is getting in touch. We can answer all your questions and help you make an informed decision about taking the next step.

Uniting Early Learning
We know that children learn best while they're playing, so we're passionate about making learning exciting. We create imaginative, caring and playful learning experiences that inspire children to build positive relationships and skills for life.
Programs supported by Volunteers
Kindergarten
Nurturing confident and creative learners
Kindergarten should be a joyous experience filled with laughter, learning and exciting discoveries while preparing 3 and 4 year olds for their first year at school.
Your child will explore their sense of self and creativity in environments that are rich in art, music, numbers, and language.
Our structured learning environments pave the path to school by encouraging children to engage with their surroundings, respect other cultures, express themselves and connect with others.

Child Care
Positive, supportive early learning environments lay strong foundations for children to blossom later in life.
Your child's self-confidence and resilience will grow as they explore their creativity and express their individuality while they learn, play, and have adventures with friends in our nurturing environment.
