Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre - Brunswick
Together, we can build connection, reduce isolation and provide a positive future for our community.
Join us at our Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre – a safe and welcoming community space for people seeking asylum in Melbourne.
We offer lots of different activities to help people settle in and find their feet, including:
- Classes and workshops - such as English, computer and creative arts lessons
- Community Meals Program - a space to prepare food and share cultural cuisine
- Excursions - family friendly experiences showcasing all that Melbourne has to offer
- Practical Support - including assistance with food, housing, material aid, transport and referrals.

Team Members assist with reception, packing and distribution of food, initial eligibility interviews, entry of data, general operations of the program and maintaining the work environment.

The Settlement Hub - Shepparton
The Settlement Hub in Shepparton provides ongoing support for individuals and families who have been in Australia for less than five years. The Hub offers programs and services to make the settlement process easier and to gain independence. It focuses on fostering social participation, economic and personal wellbeing and community connections.
