Child, Youth and Family Services - North West Metro and Wimmera

We work alongside young people to build coping skills and resilience to overcome life's challenges.

Helping young people to thrive.

Our programs support young people experiencing vulnerability, disadvantage and crisis.

We provide early intervention for at-risk youth to restore family unity to build trust and break the cycle of disadvantage.

We do this through:
  • Youth mentoring
  • School engagement program
  • Summer camps
  • L2P Driver Mentoring

By volunteering with us, you will become an important part of our team, helping to create positive change for people and communities.

L2P Mentor Drivers - Ringwood

Sometimes independence starts with P.

Our L2P Program matches learner drivers with a mentor to help get them on the road.  Getting a drivers licence is an important milestone in a young person’s life. It opens up opportunities for employment, increases confidence, a sense of responsibility and independence.

Our L2P Program matches learners with a fully-licenced volunteer driver and vehicle to help them gain driving experience.

Become a mentor.

Volunteer mentors are an integral and highly valued part of the TAC L2P Program and we always welcome enquiries and applications. To be considered as a volunteer mentor you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be over 21 years of age
  • Hold current full Australian driver's licence
  • Have satisfactory driver license history report
  • Be medically fit to drive (we may discuss this further through the application process)

If this sounds like you and have some time to spare and a passion to make an impact in the lives of people we support, by creating a place for people to feel safe. We would like you to join our team.
