Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre - Brunswick

Together, we can build connection, reduce isolation and provide a positive future for our community.

Join us at our Asylum Seeker Welcome Centre – a safe and welcoming community space for people seeking asylum in Melbourne.

We offer lots of different activities to help people settle in and find their feet, including:

  • Classes and workshops - such as English, computer and creative arts lessons
  • Community Meals Program - a space to prepare food and share cultural cuisine
  • Excursions - family friendly experiences showcasing all that Melbourne has to offer
  • Practical Support - including assistance with food, housing, material aid, transport and referrals.

If you have hidden talent that we could add to our activities list or would like to support our meals program we can support a flexible and rewarding experience.

If you have 4 hours a month to spare and a passion to make an impact in the lives of people we support, by creating a place for people to feel safe, to belong, and to connect. We would like you to join our dedicated team
