Emergency Relief - Prahran
Share your time to transform lives.
Emergency Relief volunteers are non-judgmental in their approach and the ability to respond with empathy to people in crisis.
Uniting's Emergency Relief program for people experiencing hardship. The program provides an opportunity for vulnerable members of the community to access a range of supports, including donated food items, vouchers, material goods and referrals to services.
Team Members assist with reception, packing and distribution of food, initial eligibility interviews, entry of data, general operations of the program and maintaining the work environment.
“I was looking to support an organisation that matched my interests and values,” - Ballarat Emergency Relief, Volunteer.
If this sounds like you 4 hours a fortnight to spare and a passion to make an impact in the lives of people we support, by creating a place for people to feel safe to access support. We would like you to join our team.
