Compassionate Neighbours
Hello,
Thank you for showing an interest in volunteering with Jersey Hospice Care.
Volunteering is all about making a difference to other people lives.
At Hospice we simply couldn't deliver the services we do if it wasn't for the contribution made by our volunteers.
General Interests
Compassionate Neighbour
Compassionate Neighbours are trained volunteers who offer their time, companionship, and support to Community Members by:
- Visiting regularly for a brew and a chat
- Offering companionship and a listening ear
- Helping them to do the things they like to do
- Helping them to stay connected to the community as well as family and friends
The Compassionate Neighbours project also offers group sessions, bringing Community Members together in a safe and caring environment at Jersey Hospice Care.
