The Salvation Army is first and foremost a part of the universal catholic church. We follow the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition within the Protestant Reformation. The Salvation Army's origins are from The Church of England. William Booth [Our founder, 1865], was a Methodist preacher filled with compassion for the downtrodden and alcoholics. William Booth recognized the necessity to provide food and water to the whosoever in need. Stability of basic needs provided a catalyst for the whosoever to develop a relationship with Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to make changes in one life.

The Salvation Army continues to provide Biblical education through Sunday school classes, Worship services, Bible studies and other ministry opportunities. Please click the crest below to visit our Facebook page.
