Urban Farm
Archway Urban Farm is a teaching garden designed for growing market crops. The space demonstrates growing fruit and vegetables using organic methods and provides learning opportunities and fresh food to the community.
Seniors
Our staff and volunteer team provide Information, Referral and Resource Services.
These services help link and refer older adults to community supports, programs and services within Abbotsford that are relevant to them. Some of these services and supports may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assistance with completing applications for senior ( SAFER, Lifeline etc)
- Medical Transportation, Better at Home, Meals on Wheels,
- Referrals to organizations that are senior-focused
- Healthcare resources
- Leisure and recreation
This service may be accessed in person or over the phone.
Volunteers are needed to support senior programs and services. Here is a list of possible opportunities:

- Application and Referral Support Volunteers
Better at Home
In partnership with the United Way, we help older adults in Abbotsford continue living independently in their own homes by providing simple, non-medical home support services such as light housekeeping, light yard maintenance, and transportation for errands. Fees for service are based on income.
Community Van Progam
Provide essential assistance to individuals in Abbotsford who are unable to drive, require additional support, or cannot afford Ubers, taxis, or public transportation. Ensure these community members reach their destinations safely and comfortably, enhancing their access to essential services, appointments, and social activities.

Lunch with the Bunch offers a weekly social gathering, connecting seniors to their community.
Meals on Wheels
We provide both fresh and frozen healthy meal options to individuals who are unable to shop or prepare meals for themselves, which enables them to stay in their homes longer.
Medical Transportation
Volunteers provide transportation to medical appointments from Abbotsford to neighboring communities.
