Action for Children

The FCHH at HMP Grampian opened its doors on 8^th September 2015. Since opening we have provided a range of supports to visitors and their families that are affected by imprisonment.

The FCHH has worked collaboratively with Families Outside, Shelter and Early Years Scotland to bring in additional services and supports to the centre. We have worked closely with colleagues in SPS to improve relationships between prisoners and families.

Alongside building a relationship with visitors the other main support we give to visitors is to give them general information about visiting and the prison.
