Franke Scrub (Bushcare - Highfields)

Our bush care volunteers work at Franke Scrub which is located in Highfields, 15 minutes north of Toowoomba. Volunteering occurs monthly on the last Wednesday of the month from 8am - 11am.

Pittsworth Pioneer Historical Village

The Pioneer Historical Village provides a lasting reminder of the early development of Pittsworth and surrounding rural district through the use of original buildings, equipment and artefacts. The site was established by the Pittsworth and District Historical Society in conjunction with Council. There are many displays, including building set up in the era, apparel, lace work, early settlers, settlements and machinery. |

The museum is also home to a display of memorabilia boasting the feats of Arthur Postle, known as the "Crimson Flash" – Australia and the world's one-time fastest athlete.
