Are you a retired teacher? Do you enjoy working with and connecting with young people? Do you want to make a difference in a student's life? This might be where you want to volunteer!

Do you have some time to give to support teachers or students in behind the scenes work? From cutting lamination to helping organize an event, there are ways to use your talents in "back of the house" tasks.

Do you like coffee? Do you like being around high school students who like coffee? Volunteering in the Perky Hawk student run coffee shop is a great way to connect with students, learn how to make fun drinks and enjoy the general atmosphere of a bustling high school!

Signing up to help with Teacher Appreciation Week is a great way to participate in showing our amazing Ankeny teachers that we recognize, support and greatly value all they do each day!

Volunteer coaches are selected at the discretion of the Head Coach in coordination with the Athletic Director. Applying to be a volunteer coach through this application does not guarantee or grant you permission to act in a coaching manner. Explicit approval must be provided by the coach and/or AD. 

When an individual expresses interest in serving as a volunteer for an activity or athletic program in our district, the individual may not begin their volunteer service until all steps in the district's volunteer process are complete. Only approved individuals may participate with, coach or volunteer at school approved/sponsored activities, including but not limited to competitions, games, camps, clinics, practices, and open gyms.
