About the Role:

We are looking for an Administrative Volunteer to assist our Volunteer Engagement Team in their efforts to recruit and retain dedicated volunteers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of the volunteer recruitment process, including handling inquiries, managing applications, and maintaining volunteer databases.

About the role:

As a Volunteer Event Planner, you will be part of a team who are responsible for planning and executing events for Uniting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our events are successful, engaging, and aligned with the goals and values of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the organisation's staff and other volunteers to develop event plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify potential venues and vendors for events and provide recommendations to the organisation's staff.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts with venues and vendors.
  • Manage event logistics, including catering, transportation, accommodations, and other details as required.
  • Coordinate event volunteers, ensuring that they have the necessary information and resources to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Help develop and execute event marketing and communication plans, including social media and email campaigns, to promote events to the organisation's stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of event-related materials, such as invitations, programs, and signage.
  • Work with the organization's staff and other volunteers to ensure that events align with the organisation's goals and values and effectively communicate our mission.
  • Provide post-event evaluation and analysis, including feedback from attendees and volunteers, to continuously improve event planning and execution.

About the role:

We are seeking a talented Social Media Support to join our team and take charge of our social media presence. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, innovative written and visual content for each social media campaign. You will build and maintain a solid online presence and ensure that Uniting WA's brand is well-represented on social media.

As our Social Media Support, you will manage our online communities and respond to comments on each of our accounts to promote respectful and appropriate engagement. You will also be responsible for running social media advertising campaigns and analysing data to evaluate the effectiveness of our social media campaigns in achieving their objectives.

Working closely with the Uniting WA Communications Team and Community Engagement Team, you will attend regular meetings to ensure a consistent voice is maintained across all social media platforms.

Who are we looking for:

To be successful in this role, you will need social media marketing experience and the ability to develop effective social media strategies and marketing plans. You must have a strong understanding of graphic design principles and the ability to measure campaign success.
