Welcome to Volunteering at the Wausau School District!

Provide hands-on opportunities to enhance learning in a variety of subject areas. A background check may be required for some of these types of activities for the safety of our students.

Usually one-time events during the school day or after school hours. Ex. Class trips, fundraising activities, school dance, etc. Criminal background checks are required for all field trips. Other activities may require a check.

Provides support for school staff. Ex. Bulletin boards, cutting, collating, mailings, etc. A criminal background check may be needed.
