Volunteer with APEGA

APEGA - Local Branches

Branch Science Nights

The Opportunity

APEGA's Edmonton and Calgary Branches are looking for enthusiastic volunteers interested in sharing their passion for engineering and geoscience in an evening of fun, hands-on activities and demonstrations for students, teachers and families. During the 2024-25 school year these branches will be hosting Science Nights each month at a different school in their local area. Volunteers can sign up for one or multiple Science Nights throughout the year. A pizza dinner and refreshments will be provided.

The Impact

APEGA’s outreach events, such as Science Nights and Science Olympics are vital pieces of inspiring the next generation of professional engineers, geoscientist and for introducing students to the exciting possibilities of a career in STEM. These events are a great opportunity to promote your profession in the community, and log Professional Development Hours with APEGA.
