There’s more to being a professional engineer or geoscientist than simply completing a degree, which is itself a major accomplishment. New professionals must learn to navigate not only the post-university world, but also the unique challenges beginning a new career in a complex industry. If you’re an experienced Professional or a new Member in Training, don’t you wish you could have had someone to help guide you as you embarked on the next stage of your career? |

APEGA's University Outreach volunteers create a positive impact in the community by providing career guidance to students and new graduates through a variety of programs. Volunteers virtually review students resumes, give in-person resume advice and lead mock interviews. This important work helps up and coming professionals succeed in their chosen professions, jumpstart their careers, and navigate the complexities of the engineering and geosciences industries in Alberta. |
