APEGA - Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
Women in APEGA Advisory Group
Are you a passionate engineer or geoscientist looking to create change? Are you a leader who wants to make sure there’s a seat at the table for everyone? Are you driven to build community and advance diversity and inclusion within the professions? Now’s your chance!
In 2011, APEGA established the Women in APEGA Working Group, later renamed to Women in APEGA Advisory Group, with the goal of increasing the representation of women in the professions to 30% by 2030 (30 by 30 goal). Over the past decade, the group has made significant contributions to this objective. Now we are looking for new voices.
APEGA - Member Recognition
Honours and Awards Committee
Each year, APEGA's Summit Awards recognizes professional engineers and professional geoscientists who have made outstanding contributions to the professions or to the community. Up to 11 awards are presented each year, chosen from nominations sent in by fellow members, colleagues, students, and the public.
The Association's Honours and Awards Committee seeks new volunteers to participate in a dynamic opportunity. This board is an integral part of the Summit Awards and is responsible for carefully evaluating all submissions and determining the recipients.
