Our Hodgepodge Thrift Stores are in San Rafael and Novato and could not be run without the help of volunteers.
Volunteers process donations that come in, merchandise items on the sales floor and ring up sales at the register.
Become part of our fun team and make new friends as you assist customers. All proceeds benefit By the Bay Health’s patients and their families. Customer service or retail experience preferred but we can teach you on the job. Open 5 days a week, many shifts available.

BTBH Non-Patient Support Volunteer Services

You don’t need to volunteer directly with our patients and their families to make a big contribution towards our mission. Organization support volunteers help us in other ways at By the Bay Health.
- Fundraising support opportunities such as helping with the annual gala, administrative support, and our annual gift wrap fundraiser.
- Sewing of personalized “comfort bears” supports grieving children in our Bereavement Counseling Program.
