MILLION PAWS WALK
Million Paws Walk attracts thousands of people and their dogs throughout Victoria at several different walk locations, raising much-needed funds for ‘all creatures great and small’.
It is the RSPCA’s major fundraising event of the year and without the generous support of the community and volunteers we would not be able to raise the vital funds needed to care for lost, abandoned and rescued animals.
We do everything we can to give each animal a second chance at happiness and events like Million Paws Walk help us to achieve this objective. |
|
Million Paws Walk events at the following Victorian locations are seeking volunteers to assist:
- Albert Park Lake, Melbourne (Recruitment is now closed for Albert Park Lake)
- Eastern Park Ovals, Geelong
- Fred Smith Reserve, Mornington Peninsula
- Agnes Brereton Reserve, Traralgon
We now have sufficient volunteers to assist at our Albert Park Lake Million Paws Walk.
We encourage you to consider volunteering instead at one of our regional walks at Geelong, Mornington Peninsula or Traralgon.
As a 2025 Million Paws Walk volunteer you will be tasked with assisting in various roles assigned by your Event Coordinator. Some of these roles may include:
- Assisting participants with both pre-purchase or on the day event registrations
- Assisting to set up the event
- Assisting to pack down the event
- Assisting participants with directions and event information
Please join us as a volunteer on Sunday 25th May and support RSPCA Victoria's vision of ending cruelty to all animals.
(Please note that volunteers must be aged 18 years or older)
