Become a Volunteer Visitor
Are you empathetic with good communication and listening skills and have an understanding of older people?
If you are we would love to hear from you to provide friendship and conversation to socially isolated elderly individuals or small groups to help connect, share and celebrate life experiences.
You will need to be non-judgemental and welcoming to people from all cultures and backgrounds and the ability to be flexible.
Time commitment is approx. 1 hour per fortnight, either in the client’s own home or in residential care.
We have opportunities for people to join our team in metropolitan Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, Murray Mallee, Barossa Valley, Balaklava and Clare regions.

It’s an Australian Government funded program established to promote links between people living in an aged care home or in their own homes and the wider community.
