Walking Stars - Tauranga
Tauranga, Saturday 12th February 2022
An achievable half marathon and 12km walk
Walking Stars is a non-competitive half marathon (21km) and 12km walk. With some training, it’s achievable by most people, whatever your pace or fitness level. You can choose to powerwalk, stride or stroll, but no running!
Make a difference in your community
Every day, 71 New Zealanders hear the devastating words ‘you have cancer’. When you fundraise through Walking Stars, you help local people living with cancer to receive nursing, accommodation and transport services.

We couldn’t run an event like Walking Stars without our amazing volunteers. This is an awesome opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and support a worthy cause while having fun and making a difference. There are different volunteer roles available, so no matter your previous experience we can find a role to suit you.
