Share Surrey’s rich past and exciting future while guiding small groups through city hall. Volunteers will co-lead a pre-planned tour and there will be interactive components allowing each group time to explore on their own.
The English Conversation Program offers a positive and welcoming environment for people from diverse culture and background to practice English and meet others in the community. Volunteers will help lead walks through the City of Surrey's local parks from May - September. This opportunity is part of the Surrey Walks Together campaign and it will give you an opportunity to step outside and enjoy the many different walking routes Surrey has to offer. Walking is a great way to get around and explore our city and it is also a great way to improve your health and help achieve your fitness goals. The city is planning to host bi-weekly, volunteer led walks on Saturdays from May to September, as a way for people to meet new people and connect while walking. Volunteers will share their love of walking and help guide participants along the designated walking routes in the parks listed below. Maps and fact sheets about the park will be provided to help you keep the participants engaged in what they are seeing.
