Adult/55+ Recreation Activity Assistant
The City of Surrey provides a variety of volunteer-led drop-in activities, events and clubs for adult/55+ members. Volunteer Recreation Activity Assistants are instrumental in supporting staff in offering these services; in turn, they contribute to the health and wellbeing of participants and the community.

English Conversation Program
The English Conversation Program offers a positive and welcoming environment for people from diverse culture and background to practice English and meet others in the community. With the support from the Diversity and Inclusion staff team, volunteers design program materials and facilitate learning and interactions.
Food Services Assistant
The provision of food services is an integral part of seniors programs at recreation centres. Food Service Assistants play an important role in the operation and delivery of this service.
