Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Surrey Animal Resource Centre!
Our volunteer program is currently closed for intake and not accepting new applications at this time. Follow us on Facebook for updates on when the program will reopen!
We currently offer a couple of volunteer intake sessions per year.
The application process is for volunteers is as follows:
- Complete the online application
- Sign up for & attend a General Information Session (Volunteer Intake Session)
- Submit two references (forms can be found on the homepage of www.myimpactpage.com under “Files” –> “reference forms”.)
- Complete & Submit Police Information Check
Once those steps are complete you can sign up for a Orientation Session for the shelter program stream you would like to volunteer for: Dogs, Cats, or Small Animals.
Volunteer Age Statement: Volunteers, who have not reached the age of 18 years, but are 14 years, are permitted to volunteer if their guardian is present at all times. The guardian is responsible for completing the application process and required training along with the minor.
