Homework Assistance Program
About the Role
SSI’s Homework Assistance Program is supported by our Community Development team, who deliver culturally and linguistically sensitive information sessions and workshops to groups of clients who are going through the settlement process. These sessions take into account the different literacy levels and cultural backgrounds of the participants and are delivered in partnership with local organisations focusing on various topics. The Homework Assistance Program volunteer will work one - on - one with students from primary age to year 12 assisting them with maths.
