City of Frisco Municipal Volunteer Program

Play Frisco’s Cultural Affairs Division is the city's hub for public art, community events, and local history. Cultural Affairs volunteers serve at Frisco Discovery Center’s performance spaces and art galleries and the Frisco Heritage Center, including the Frisco Heritage Museum. The minimum age to volunteer with Cultural Affairs is 15.

Environmental Services offers a variety of opportunities to get involved through volunteer programs, community cleanups, environmental education, and special projects.

Teens4Green, an award-winning program for teens ages 14–18, is the primary Environmental Services volunteer program offered through My Impact. Teens participate in hands-on service projects while promoting environmental awareness and sustainability throughout Frisco.

Looking for other ways to help? Community cleanups are open to volunteers of all ages and provide opportunities for individuals, families, and groups to help keep Frisco clean and beautiful.

Adult Library Volunteers – Ages 18+

Frisco Public Library welcomes active, motivated adult volunteers who want to serve their community, develop customer service skills, and share their talents with the library. 

The application on this page is for adult volunteers ages 18 and older only. Once accepted, volunteers can view and sign up for available shifts.

Teen Library Volunteers

Frisco Public Library's VolunTEEN program offers separate opportunities for middle and high school students. The program has its own application process, with application links typically posted here each spring.

The VolunTEEN program is currently full and is not accepting applications. Please do not use the adult volunteer application to apply for the VolunTEEN program.

The mission of the City of Frisco's Natural Resources Division is to enhance the quality of life for current and future residents through responsible management of natural resources. Our goal is to create a community where residents can "play naturally" in our beautiful green spaces and learn about Frisco’s natural areas through educational experiences.
