Volunteer Opportunities

Activity Assistant

We need your help to assist with a variety of activities at The Grove. From chair volleyball and Bingo to arts and crafts classes, we have volunteer opportunities daily.

OLLI - UNT

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute or OLLI for short, is a lifelong learning program that provides non-credit courses and educational events on a variety of topics for ages 50 and up during the spring semester.

OLLI volunteers will help set up, restock supplies, replenish coffee, sit in the classroom to help the instructor with presentation equipment/software as needed. Volunteers must be good with technology to fill this role. During downtime, we may ask that you give tours to prospective members.

Front Desk Assistant

We need volunteers to help greet and check in members, give tours to guests who are considering joining The Grove, make coffee and tea, and provide basic customer service.

Special Event & Facility Maintenance

Our special event and facility maintenance volunteers will help clean and organize the kitchen, assist with laundry, as well as set up, decorate, prep, and serve food/drinks for special events and assist with the activities, and
clean up.
