Discovery Center, Heritage Museum, and Cultural Arts Events

Play Frisco’s Cultural Affairs Division is the City of Frisco’s hub for public art, community events, and organizational support for the cultural sector. Cultural Affairs volunteers serve at Frisco Discovery Center’s performance spaces and art galleries and the Frisco Heritage Museum. Most positions have an age requirement of 16 years or older. We do offer a few volunteer opportunities for 15-year-olds during our special events.

Volunteer Opportunities

Greeter - Frisco Heritage Museum

Daily Hours: 
Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Museum Greeters will welcome guests and assist them as needed as they tour the museum. Additional duties may include capturing visitor statistics, tidying areas, straightening brochures, and restocking supplies. This volunteer assignment has year-round openings and flexible times.
