Volunteer Campbell River

These positions work directly with patients and and frontline staff in a variety of roles on patient wards, the ER and OR.

The new Discovery Passage Explorer Lab provides a teaching facility for students to learn about our local marine life. This facility is open for school and group bookings, as well as public events and birthday parties. We house some local animals in this facility throughout the year. This category involves developing and delivering programs for schools and groups.

The education / outreach volunteers assist with classroom and community visits to teach the public about wildlife and conservation.

Site volunteers are not involved in direct animal care. Instead they ensure the health and safety of patients by keeping the site clean and well maintained.

Group Committee Members are the volunteers who manage the Scout Groups from an administrative standpoint.
