Mission Statement
Catholic Charities’ Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program provides services to anyone facing these issues through a 24-hour crisis phone line, emergency shelter, court advocacy, empowerment education, support groups and outreach to underserved populations.
Catholic Charities’ Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault program serves nine counties in southwest Iowa: Audubon, Cass, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Page, Pottawattamie, and Shelby.

Co-facilitate educational support groups offered in Council Bluffs. Training required and provided by program. Groups offered Tues & Fri 10-11:30am and Thurs 3-4:30pm

About Catholic Charities of Des Moines Food Pantry
The Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry is a member of the Des Moines Area Religious Council Food Pantry Network and partners with the Food Bank of Iowa to provide nutritious food to the hungry.
Those in need can receive a three-day supply of food once per month at no cost. Additionally, the anytime window is open to anyone during their business hours: Monday-Thursday 10:00 am-3:30 pm and Friday 9:30 am-12:30 pm.
Fresh produce, dairy products, rice, Meals from the Heartland, and beans are available while supplies last. Bread is available every day for families in need regardless of their address. Families may take up to two loaves per day per household.
