Generalist
All HC-MRC volunteers are considered Generalist volunteers once accepted into the MRC program. You can choose to only be a generalist volunteer and not join any of the specialize MRC Response Teams. These volunteers will assist HSPHD in an emergency with logistical and general staff support roles to provide important "surge" capacity assistance and assist with providing for staff needs during deployment or training events. This includes setting up and operationalizing PODs, Family Assistance Centers, Disaster Assistance Centers, Family Reunification Centers, and other types of field based sites.
- Be a MRC volunteer in good standing.
