In this important role, volunteers serve as an extension of the Spiritual Care Practitioners and improve the quality of Spiritual Care programs and activities through the provision of a ministry of presence to those in need. This may include but not be limited to being present with resident(s) and bringing or listening to music, praying, reading scripture, poetry, books etc.
