Bethany’s Mealtime Companion volunteers assist our residents with basic feeding and provide social companionship.   Mealtime Companions both enhance the residents’ mealtime experience while ensuring safety is monitored during mealtimes to mitigate choking risks. As a Mealtime Companion you will receive safe feeding training. As part of your volunteer experience, you will assist residents with getting to and from dining areas, provide assistance in feeding them and work closely with residents to maintain safety in feeding/swallowing activities.
