Fashion Department Volunteer

Volunteering with us is easy, flexible, and inclusive. If you can spare a few hours a week, or a couple of hours occasionally, we’d love you to join our volunteer team. 

Interested in fashion and trends? Know your brands and designer labels? Love accessorising your look? If this sounds like you then we have your perfect volunteering role. Get involved in selecting, cleaning, labelling and displaying the amazing stock of fashion accessories in our charity shop.

This is a volunteer opportunity to share your love of fashion, or to get a taster of a career in retail and you'll be helping Your Local Air Ambulance to fund lifesaving missions.  

Just so you know, we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 or anyone with unspent criminal convictions. Please note this is an unpaid voluntary position in a friendly charity shop.  

Typical tasks include: 

• Following our display guidelines to create attractive displays of fashion accessories in our shop
• Keeping our accessories department fully stocked with fresh items
• Sorting out and cleaning donated bags, shoes, belts and jewellery
• Following our guidelines to value and price donated accessories 

Application deadline - Ongoing

Informal chat - After you have applied, the shop manager will contact you to arrange a time to chat about volunteering, which could also include a taster session  

Start date - After your chat with the manager and once on-boarding has been completed, we will work with you to agree a start date
