Events and Activity Support Volunteer
Looking to be part of an exciting event, make new connections, and contribute to a fantastic experience? We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our veteran community events.
Purpose
The purpose of the role is to support events and activities held at the Veteran and Family Hubs. Activities can be for raising funds, social engagement or supporting psychological resilience and training.
Main tasks
- Event set-up & Breakdown
- Registration Assistance
- General Support throughout the events
- Set up marketing banners, posters and decorations
- You may assist with food preparation and BBQ
- And more

- Be reliable, flexible and committed
- Ability to make personal connections with staff, volunteers, seniors and veterans regardless of cultural backgrounds, identity, beliefs and denominations.
- Alignment with RSL LifeCare values and willingness to follow policies and procedures
- Follow the Food Handling procedures when dealing with food
