Gardener / Maintenance Volunteers - Athol Park & Woodville
We are currently seeking for two volunteers to assist with the maintenance and care of our property. Our offices are located on Athol St in Athol Park and Woodville. Ideally, each volunteer could contribute between 5 and maximum 15 hours per week.
The main duties of these volunteers include, but are not limited to:
- Watering plants/trees/flowers
- Picking up rubbish around the yard/parking (to ensure there is no sharp objects that can cause damage car tyres)
- Performing small repairs that doesn’t require certificates or a white card.
- Assisting the Facility manager with setting up chairs and tables in the Hall before the events and removing them afterward.
- Cleaning the memorial in Athol Park office once a week
- Washing two vans every 3 months
- Assisting to solve urgent problems as they arise.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness, including the ability to climb the ladders or lift heavy items.
- Proficiency in English and/or Vietnamese
- National Police Check
- Proof of Covid vaccinations
