Op Shop Concierge
The GCH operates a large Op Shop, and this volunteer position assists front of house to greet customers and assist where necessary. Collect any donations customers may deliver front of house and take to donation sorting area. Monitor stock to ensure a good variety and consistent pricing. Hang/display stock as it is delivered from donation sorting area. Ensure racks and items are displayed in a manner that optimises presentation. Monitor and shelve books in appropriate sections. Sweep floor and dust bric-a-brac regularly, vacuum if required. Complete tasks on Daily Task sheet. Open and shut Op Shop and assist behind Op Shop counter as required.
