Events Volunteers

We are looking for a casual and flexible customer service volunteer role as a public communicator at expos and forums. These events are an opportunity for us to raise the public profile/awareness of our organisation and its benefits to the not for profit sector and of volunteering in general as a pathway to community connection, to employment and to further education.
Volunteer needs to be passionate about meeting people, punctual, reliable, friendly with an enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work unsupervised. Great listening and effective communication skills are a must!
Days are based around calendar of events for expos and forums across the region.
Responsibilities, duties and personal attributes –
- Excellent customer service and effective communication skills
- Deliver verbal presentations
- Ability to attend various locations for expos and forums
- Good personal presentation with a professional can do attitude
- Carry out duties as delegated including assisting with setting up and packing down of resources and equipment
- Be aware of WH&S protocol and procedures
- Undertake required induction & training
- Undergo a National Police Check (at no cost)
