General Kitchen Hand - For food service charity
Faithworks Food Assist centre is located at Blair Athol. It is a Christian based, not-for-profit community service, that provides food and meals to those in need and the general public.
We are looking for a volunteer to prepare basic meals, food platters and package prepare food, to provide take-away and frozen meals through our kitchen.
We have various shifts available between 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
Approximate hours per week needed for this position is 10 to 50 hours, depending on your availability.
Duties include:
- Kitchen work
- Food packaging
- Cleaning.
- Keeping a hygienic kitchen area
Applicants must:
- Have high food safety standards.
- Be honest.
- Be friendly
- Be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have a creative flair with food preparation
