Learner Driver Theory Tutor
Make a real difference as a Learner Driver Theory Tutor by sharing your knowledge of South Australia road rules, building learners confidence and understanding.
The role involves working one-one or with a small group of migrants and people from culturally diverse backgrounds to help them prepare for the learners Driver Theory Test.
Using practical tests and learning resources, you will support participants to build their knowledge, confidence and independence in a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. All learner Driver theory test resources and learning materials are provided. experience in tutoring, mentoring or teaching is desirable but not essential.
Sessions are held Monday to Friday and typically run for 1-2hrs.
Do you have:
- A good understanding of South Australia road rules and the Learners Driver theory test.
- Strong communication skills with patient, supportive and encouraging approach
- The ability to work respectfully with people from diverse cultural and language background
