Community Lunch Host
We are looking for a volunteer to support a welcoming and organised monthly Community Lunch; greet participants and assist with attendance, registration and practical needs.
You will be needed monthly on Tuesdays from 11:00am to 4:00pm
Duties
- Welcome participants and assist with attendance and registration.
- Provide practical support such as tea, coffee, water and general assistance.
- Help participants complete surveys and feedback forms when requested.
- Work with staff and volunteers; notice and report concerns or support needs.
- Create a respectful, welcoming environment
- NB the role does not provide personal care.
Other Information
- Regular volunteer role, more than 6 months; monthly Tuesday sessions, 11 am-4 pm.
- Warm, approachable and a good listener; communicates patiently and respectfully.
- On-site parking available and location is close to public transport.
- Wheelchair accessible venue;
- volunteer works alongside staff and other volunteers.
