Mentor / Support
Volunteers are urgently needed to assist offenders leaving prison and within the community to re-integrate into the wider community by assisting with basic life skills. ie using public transport, visiting shopping centres, supporting & mentoring clients to liaise with other members of the community in a non-aggressive manner.
Areas include: Northfield; Port Adelaide; Salisbury; Elizabeth
Days and times are based on requests, as and when needed
All volunteers will be required to undergo a police check. Must be prepared to use government vehicles. Must have a full SA Drivers Licence & 3rd party property insurance for own vehicle. Ability to be non-judgemental.
- Must be physically capable of performing the range of tasks associated with the role
Requirements: All volunteers must attend a mandatory Orientation program.
