Native Garden - Duty Officer
The Gawler Community House relies on volunteers to develop and maintain its native garden project. The volunteer we are looking for needs to have a good knowledge in and a passion for native plants and who is willing to take responsibility for maintaining our native garden. Maintenance involves watering, feeding, weeding and mulching native garden beds. Replacing and planting native plants as required, and other garden related duties. It is also desirable that knowledge of propagating and planting native seed to grow native plants for sale in the GCH plant shop which are suitable the area. Some heavy lifting may be required as times when mulching, digging, etc.
